How to Apply UPSC Online Form 2025

1. One-Time Registration (OTR)

Visit https://upsconline.nic.in and click on "One-Time Registration (OTR) for Examinations of UPSC".

Fill in your basic details: Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Father's and Mother's Names, Nationality, Email ID, and Mobile Number.

Verify your email and mobile number through the OTPs sent.

Upon successful verification, you'll receive a unique OTR ID.

2. Part-I Registration

Log in using your OTR ID and complete Part-I Registration.

Provide personal details, educational qualifications, and address.

Choose your preferred examination center.

After reviewing the information, submit the form to receive a Registration ID (RID).

Part-II Registration

Log in with your RID and Date of Birth.

Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in JPG format (20 KB to 300 KB).

Pay the application fee:

₹100 for General/OBC male candidates.

No fee for Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Payment can be made online via SBI Net Banking, credit/debit card, or by cash through SBI Challan.

Agree to the declaration and submit the form.

Application Correction Window

If needed, you can make corrections to your application during the correction window, which is typically open for a week after the application deadline.

Note: Certain details like Name, Date of Birth, and Father's Name cannot be changed after submission.

Documents Required

1. Recent passport-sized photograph (JPG format).
2. Scanned signature (JPG format).
3. Valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.).
4. Educational qualification certificates.
5. Caste certificate (if applicable).
6. Disability certificate (if applicable).
