Overview of the SSC CPO SI Selection Stages
Stage 1: Paper-I (Computer-Based Test)
This is the first and primary screening test.
Mode: Online (Computer-Based)

General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 Marks
General Knowledge & General Awareness: 50 Marks
Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Marks

Marking Scheme:
+1 mark for each correct answer.
-0.25 marks (Negative Marking) for each wrong answer.
No deduction for unattempted questions.
Purpose: To shortlist a large number of candidates for the PST/PET stage. The cut-off marks for Paper-I are determined by the Commission.

Candidates who qualify for Paper-I are called for PST/PET. This stage is qualifying in nature, meaning marks are not added to the final total, but failure leads to disqualification.
