How To Check & Download SSC CGL Tier - I Result 2025
Step 1: Wait for the Official Notification
Do not trust unofficial sources or "leaked" results. Wait for the official press release on the SSC website stating "Declaration of Result of Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2025".
Step 2: Visit the Official SSC Website
Go to the official SSC portal: https://ssc.gov.in
On the homepage, under the "Latest News" or "Result" section, look for the link related to CGL Tier-I 2025 Result.
Step 3: Access the Result PDF
Click on the relevant result link. It will open a new page.
You will typically see two important links:
"List of the candidates shortlisted for Tier-II" (This is the main result PDF).
"Marks of the candidates" (This link may be activated later to check your detailed score).
Click on the "Shortlisted Candidates" PDF link.
Step 4: Check Your Roll Number
The PDF file (which can be large, 50-100+ pages) will open or download.
Use the Ctrl + F (Find) function on your keyboard.
Enter your Roll Number in the search box and press Enter.
If your roll number is highlighted, Congratulations! You have qualified for Tier-II. If not, you may not have cleared this stage.
Step 5: Download & Save the Result
To download the PDF: Simply use the download button in your PDF viewer or right-click and select "Save As". Save it to a dedicated folder on your computer (e.g., "SSC CGL 2025").
Take a screenshot: Take a clear screenshot of the section showing your roll number as a backup.
Print a copy: It's advisable to keep a hard copy for future reference during the Tier-II admit card download and document verification.
